El Parador's  bookclub, hosted by a different reader each month!  We will be discussing The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon

Historical novel set in rural Maine inspired by the real life of 18th century midwife and healer Martha Ballard. A thoughtful and immersive novel that lingers long after the final page!

Through a mix of freeform discussion and guided questions, we will explore our thoughts and opinions about the novel while enjoying the one of a kind ambience and company of El Parador Cafe and it's patrons. We look forward to seeing you there!
